I live in stoughton, Wi and well its a small town close to Madison, WI where the badgers are from. I have lived here my whole life and its been getting pretty eventful the last few years but thats normal when it comes to my life its always eventful never too dull.

I enjoy sports especially football. What guy doesn't really? I am a colleg egrad. and also going farther into college so hopefully the econ picks up and I get a better job. I'm not quite sure how to summarize myself. I'm generally a happy person trying to live each day to the fullest. Although I'm always up for trying something, it seems like my life is always full of the same things: working and hanging out with friends.

I'm a gamer and like to play games of all sorts. Video games (Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360), board games (Heroscape, Settlers of Catan, Risk), and role playing games(D&D, d20 Modern). I'm into computers, as most geeks are. I don't think I could deal with not having a computer. It really is my main source of news, entertainment, and reference. I like animals, and have two cats. I like watching DVD's, I have a good collection of my favorite movies. I love music and listen to it most of the time. You may even catch me singing and dancing along sometimes. I'm crafty and like building and making things. I have a very impressive LEGO collection. I can make really cool origami models. I like camping, and the outdoors. I love to travel, and going on road trips. The road is the only way to travel in my opinion. If you can't drive there, its not worth visiting! I've driven to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, New Orleans (pre-Katrina, its a shame what happened down there), the Black Hills South Dakota, and a solo trip through Ontario, Canada. I started by driving North, going through U.P. Michigan. Then drove South-East through Ontario staying at campgrounds on the way. Stopped in Toronto for a couple nights, then back into the states through Niagara Falls, then stopped in Cleveland before heading back home. It was awesome. Best trip of my life so far!

I would consider myself to be a pretty intelligent person. I work hard, but that doesn't prevent me from having fun too.

My life is drama free and I like to keep it that way. I love to meet people and just have fun. Respect yourself and people around you. Hello my name is Andy. I am a former radio announcer. I finished school at Madison Area Technical College in the Firefighting/EMT-Basic Program. I am currently working for a company that converts paper documents into computer files for businesses, hospitals, etc...I am also am in the process of helping to get a non-profit organization started here and get 501(c)(3) status. Currently I am the President of the board of directors. I am a former Navy Vet. I got to visit quite a few countries when I was on active duty, and I still love to travel.

I'm smart, most of the time. I'm cynical, almost all the time. I'm a bit of an asshole, some of the time. More importantly, and more consistently, I'm funny as Hell, even if it's sometimes only to myself.

I'm an atheist who's fascinated by religion, a pervert who's amazed by purity, and a smart guy who's repulsed by stupidity.

I like to have fun, I like to party a little, and I'm really happy with my life. I've gotten to a point where getting hammered every night isn't my ideal situation, but I'm not to the point where the occasional bender doesn't sound ideal.

I'm either a libertarian or an anarcho-capitalist, depending on the day/direction of the wind. I'm also a devout atheist (oxymoronicness intended) and I hate anime. Believe it or not, those three things were the reason my last three relationships ended, so I've decided to just put them right out front now. More things some people find annoying: I think Kurt's writing was pretentious and unimpressive, I think Tarantino is an overrated hack, the LOTR movies were utter shit (using the British pronunciation), I could possibly care less about Harry Potter, but it'd be hard, and I mock people relentlessly. In fact, I've said a few thousand times to a few hundred different people "If I don't take the time to insult you, it just means I don't care."

Oh, and I think addiction is a load of shit, I swear more than a sailor with Turret's, and the little guy who censors what you say? Mine committed suicide ten years ago. And I have a habit of saying something unintentionally offensive to someone, pausing for a split second, and then saying "I stand by it." This is followed by uncontrollable giggling.

Recently I've started adding "for some reason" to the end of lots of sentences, since it cracks one of my roommates up. I have three roommates until mid-August, when two of them are leaving. I'm fairly sure "for some reason" isn't the cause of the departure, though.

Because it always comes up and some people find it odd, <<umi-ryu>> is one of my roommates, and an ex-girlfriend. We're just friends now, though- it turns out we're good at that, but bad at the relationship thing. If you're the type to get jealous easily, though, you might want to wander away.

And yeah, I'm a sadist. Consensual pain is frickin' hot, I can't deny it or ignore it, and I don't want to. I'm not looking for mindless slaves (not exclusively, at least :) ), but biting, scratching, slapping, etcetera are regular parts of my sex life. If that's not for you, hey, I'll gladly talk to you anyway. I'm not one to turn down new friends.

And before I forget, I ruthlessly mock goth and emo kids who act like they're bad ass. In fact, pretty much any guy who thinks he's bad ass and isn't above six six is going to set off my alpha-male strut... which is either endearing, annoying, or terrifying, depending on who you ask. No matter what, I'm not planning on stopping it any time soon. Girls in goth gear can be super duper hot... pale skin, dark make-up, piercings... drool... but I promise I'll laugh at any dark and evil things you say. Be forewarned.

There's nothing I care less about than circumstances of birth... if you have a large amount of pride in your "cultural heritage" then maybe we won't get along that well. There's a difference between knowing where you came from and things like, say, whining about the fact that German isn't the dominant language because you've got German ancestors. This one is hard to explain without specific examples... if you're curious, feel free to ask.

I've been living in Southern WI for about 10 years. I grew up in California, but came out to WI to attend Beloit College. I graduate around the dot com crash, so rather than moving back to Silicon Valley and taking years to find a job, I took a job I was offered at the place I had been interning my senior year of college. Last year I started a new job and have recently moved to Madison. I really like my new job and living in Madison.

Hmm, what else? I like to read. I'm in a book club that meets about once a month. We read everything from autobiographies and memoirs, to contemporary fiction. I'm also in a game group that meets about once a week. We get together and play all sorts of games, from light games like apples to apples to more strategic based games.

I'm on here mostly for the quizzes and generally to waste time. I'm about to graduate and move across the country.

I try to make the most out of life and love each and everyday. I recently graduated with a marketing degree here in Madison. I have a full time job with benefits and love the company that I work for. I find teeth slightly creepy. But only when I really think about the IDEA of teeth. Or being a dentist.

Nothing sounds more liberating or exciting to me than the combination of: a reliable car, several thousand miles of highway/country roads/whatever else I come across, and few months off to enjoy it all. Windows down, of course.

I'm BACK!!

It's been a long time Madison, but my southwest exile is over. After three long years of suffering through warm weather, endless sunshine, really fresh air, and a low cost of living, I can finally get back too... fried cheese, I guess...

I'm coming back to write-up and defend my thesis, which, like I said was done off-site. I suppose then I'll need to find a job, but that's still a few months off. Know anyone that needs to hire semiconductor physicist?

Now that I'm back up north, I'm looking forward to using my mothballed cross-country skis, sailing, watching the Twins and Brewers again, possibly curling? We'll see...

My name's Lief; a splendid example of a creative, unique name, the kind I am sure you wish you had. I'm a U of M student majoring in political science and sociology, because I can't get enough of them.

I hate writing things like this. A person like you or me is infinite in complexity and mere handfuls of data in small paragraphs and tests can do any more than scratch the surface of just who someone is. If you're really curious, read the journals I posted.

I'm constantly changing, or trying to change, I see things that work for people in their personalities and snatch those traits for myself... I'm really a very overt combination of my circle of friends.
I wish I could be a charisma hero, someone everyone knows and loves, but that's just not what I'm currently cut out for... in time I suppose.

I'm an art student drop out of Bradley university. I took the last few years off to adjust and re-screw my head on, my mind and heart just wasn't in that hell hole.
next year I will be headed back to school at either MATC or UW Madison for business management.
